Our Story

14 years ago, I was fired from a freelance job and my boyfriend of 5.5 years broke up with me the same day.

I realized my inability to manage conflict impacted every area of my life. Even though I learned everything I could about conflict, knowledge didn’t change how I responded under stress. I wanted a way to practice challenging conversations without damaging relationships.

Throughout my life, I have realized that one of the most important qualities I admired and sought out in friends, family, partners, and colleagues is emotional intelligence and communication skills. These types of skills are most heavily tested during hard situations and conflicts. People who exhibit these qualities oftentimes find their skills breaking down in these situations, leading to damaged relationships.

I believe that Face It can help to instill these crucial skills, allowing more people to achieve their full potential in life.
